NameCheap has one of the best management interfaces in the industry. It allows you to easily manage large portfolios of domains. With each domain registration you get free whois privacy which is excellent in protecting your information online. Customer service has always been quick and helpful. One of the best registrars I have ever used.

Simply the best registrar I’ve come across. They’ve got great bulk tools, competitive pricing (and monthly coupon codes), free whois privacy, great customer service, and arguably the best control panel out of any registrar. They accept PayPal, which is a plus for me.

NameCheap is among one of the best domain registrars out there. The customer interface is very clean and fast compared to cluttered ones such as GoDaddy. The transparency of the management team is also very admirable and representative of how their business operates.
Highly recommended!

I had a set of domains registered with them once and when I tried to move them to another registrar, these bastards never once replied to any of my emails so I could get my codes. I even used different email addresses to see if I was even getting through to them. After my year of registration was up, I ended up dropping the domains because they never responded to me. These people are dirty rotten thieves and I’ll never forgive them for what they did. I make sure that I warn all of my clients to stay away from them!

Easy to manage a portfolio of domains, self service everything (including domain passwords). Bulk update very useful, as is being able to group domains.

NameCheap is easily the best registrar I have used. Clean website, easy and simple management interface and decent prices. Never needed to use their customer service, so no rating for that.

Namecheap have a very easy to use website, great customer service, and the price is pretty good. Not the cheapest, but they make up for it in other ways.
Compared to GoDaddy, Namecheap excells in every way, especially the website. Namecheap’s site is well laid out, and easy to use, whereas GoDaddy’s site is a nightmare.

I have used Name Cheap quite a bit and although I can find better priced domains elsewhere, their account management tools are one of the best that I have come across.
While I have had some problems using customer service, everything is usually resolved in a good amount of time.

I used Namecheap to purchase my first domains, and don’t plan on going anywhere else for future ones. Prices can’t be beat.

Although better deals can be found online, I like NameCheap for its ease of use. The interface is perfect and the website loads very quickly, unlike some other registrars.

One of the most friendly and reliable registrars out there. Unlike other registrars like Godaddy (where you get spammed with 100s of side-offers when you just want to register a domain) NameCheap’s interface clean and their staff actually respond to support queries instead of using canned responses. If you are looking for a safe, reliable, affordable and caring registrar, NameCheap should be your choice.

Namecheap = Win. Hassle free transactions from the very start. Clean site interface and you don’t have to go through annoying ads while checking out! (I’m looking at you GoDaddy). The price is also just right, considering the freebies you get with a domain.
Thanks Namecheap, keep it up!

Namecheap offers a comprehensive and neat control panel for administering domains at a very reasonable price. Security-wise, the default (normal) connection is not a secure connection (https) although it is available. Customer service on the technical side is superb, sales side is just ok.

It’s really not the best, I like that they have varied payment options so for that they get a 3 but the price is on the higher end. Average domain price at other competitors is about $6 and some offer a discount coupon for a domain for just $2.
Also they don’t offer very much, just a bare domain and simple features. Whois security is free - but only for a limited time, that kinda sucks because it should be included in the price of $10 - why can’t they offer that in the price, really sucks

Most of my domains are with namecheap for a reason. The only ones not with namecheap are domains that were transferred by someone else to me and they will soon be transferred to namecheap. Good customer service, contests for free domains, free privacyguard. Can’t beat it.

I have a lot of domains, and I love their domain interface. The only thing I would like to see change is maybe coupons for renewals. Besides that, they have the best service in the business. I guess I should not begrudge them a couple bucks on the renewals, since the service is good.
And for the whiner above that complains about the EPP codes. I think they are readily available in the user interface.

Great company. Good customer service, knowledgeable staff, and the most intuitive interface for managing domains that I’ve ever seen.

I started registering domain names in 1999 and went through many registrars before I came to Namecheap, I now have 55 domains registered ALL with Namecheap and I advise ALL my clients to transfer their domains to Namecheap due to the reliability, ease of use and excellent pricing. Namecheap has earned their reputation the old fashioned way, they worked hard for it.

All of NameCheap’s nameservers keep on going down. At least three times since I have been with them (6 months). Down again this morning. Great prices are useless if your domain cannot be reached.

I only have one complaint against Namecheap.
Their chargeback policy which you can see here:
Chargeback policy:
http://www.namecheap.com/legal/reg-agreement.asp
11.Payment
If Paypal or Google checkout refuse your payment, through no fault of your own, then Namecheap will make you pay for what they call “affecting our credit rating”. Even if they have incurred no loses.

I have access to domains at a lower price than the ones Namecheap charge (a few dollars), but I won’t use them purely and simply because of the functionality and control that I have with the Namecheap UI.
I recently transferred over 50 domains from another registrar with no problems what-so-ever.
Customer support is second to none, and very responsive to even the smallest of issues.
Reliability has been excellent as is service response times.
If Namecheap carry on as they have done so far, I can’t see me going anywhere else for my domain names.
(And they keep adding more features to the service).
Contact me via my Twitter account above if you want any help with moving to Namecheap.
(You’ll find Namecheap on Twitter too and they are very forward in talking to their clients)

I like Namecheap especially the fast that the online live support is really gud and better that some big corporations i deal with on a daily basis.I was disappointed tho that they did not host asp.net sites although their own site is written in asp.net language. But i have not had any problems yet with the service they offer for PHP Hosting.
Keep up the Goody goodies!!

I’ve only been with NameCheap for a couple of months, but I’ve been very happy with them all-around. I’ve used GoDaddy before and actually prefer NameCheap over GoDaddy. I’ve used other registrars for years and there always seemed to be a need to use their support department. Not so with NameCheap. I’ve registered 6 domains now and haven’t needed to call or email for help at all… not once. Everything is explained, presented clearly, and is easy to use. However, I feel confident that if I needed them, they would be right there with an answer. I just don’t have a question yet!

I don’t know much about security, but I love their easy-to-use interface, and while beginners can use it, you can also dig really deep into it and many “pro” features are found.
Talked to Customer Support a lot of times (Through email.) and they were nice, resolved my issues.
Price is acceptable, and discounts codes can be found via their site or through promotions.
Hope their upcoming security features don’t cost much, since it would spoil it all. (The interface. Paying for it.)

I have used a few other companies but I ended up with Name Cheap and I find them top notch. I always recommend them to anyone who ask. I’m not a very long time customer (only 3 months yet). But I must say, this has been already one of the best experiences I have. Prices are very reasonable. Customer service was very quick to respond to certain issues I had to resolve. And I very much like the tools available to manage your domains and hosting. Can’t talk about security yet, time will have to tell, but I’m leaning to positive expectations.

You get what you pay for. Admittedly not the cheapest registrar on the net but when it comes down to it, NameCheap’s services are definitely worth the few extra cents. NameCheap keeps finding new innovative ways to gain marketshare against monopolistic registrars.
I’ve been with 4 registrars so far, NameCheap definitely sticks out as one of the best yet. Keep up the great work!

As a registrar & hosting newbie, service was uber important in my choice. I spent hours and hours researching via reviews, geek forums, & others’ experience before deciding.

I’ve already recommended NameCheap and give it a hearty two thumbs up.

NameCheap has an easy to use control panel, decent prices and fair support.
The main problem is that NameCheap cannot manage their DNS. Whether it be DDOS attacks or other their DNS servers have gone done far too often recently.
If you intend to use URL forwarding stay away from NameCheap.
